Community Clean Up
On our community clean up day (in the fall) we provide large dumpsters and a wood chipper for your use, in two neighbourhood locations. At the same time, volunteers go through the alleys removing unwanted debris. Volunteering for a community clean up is a fun way to meet your neighbours (honestly!). People with trucks are especially needed. To participate, call the office at 569-8755.
Dumpster Clean Up
Once a year, volunteers paint over tags and other unwanted graffiti on the City dumpsters. If your dumpster needs attention, the community association can provide you with a can of paint to touch it up. Please call the office at 569-8755.
If your dumpster lid needs to be replaced, call the City at 777-7000. For community safety it is important to keep lids in good repair - but you have to place the call.
Unwanted Graffiti
The City of Regina places responsibility on property owners (individuals and businesses) to clean up unsightly graffiti on their property, especially hateful, obsene or racist graffiti. If you are a victim of graffiti, and want help covering it up, you can:
* Paint over the graffiti
Through the Community Paint Program, you can purchase discounted paint, chemical removers, brushes, rollers and other clean-up items from participating paint companies:
Cloverdale Paint
General Paint
Glidden Paint
RONA Home and Garden
Yarnton Decorating Ltd.
* Call a commercial graffiti remover
Companies offering this service are found in the Yellow Pages under Graffiti Removal.
