CACA FALL 2018 REC PROGRAMMING

Rec program registration is September 11 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the . If you can not attend, please call the office at 306-569-8755 or email caca@sasktel.net after this date to register, space permitting.

Preschool:

Kids Creative Movement (4 to 6 years)

Young movers will build their movement vocabulary and develop body-awareness in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Students will explore basic dance concepts through stories, art, music, and structured improvisation. This ten-week session is geared toward those with a big imagination and an interest in movement.

Saturdays, September 22 to November 24 (10 classes)

Parent & Tot Free Play (1 to 5 years)

Toys, tents and other fun things are provided in a gym for the kids to run around in. Parental supervision required.

Tuesdays, starting September 4

Spend a fun filled afternoon playing Crib. The Community Association will provide coffee & cookies.

We do have several Crib boards & decks of cards, however if you have a spare cribbage board & deck of cards please bring them along.

Tai Chi Chih: Joy through Movement (18+ years)

This practice is often thought of as a moving meditation because of the calming effect on the mind and emotions, and the release of tension throughout the body. Reported benefits are many, including improved balance and coordination, increased sense of joy and well-being and increased physical and mental energy. It is easily learned by people of all ages and physical conditions.

New! Forever… in Motion (55+ years)

Forever…in Motion is an initiative that helps older adults become physical activity through volunteer led physical activity.

The program goal is to improve and/or maintain the health of older adults living in the community through education and physical activity. The program includes endurance, strength, balance and flexibility activities which may be performed either in sitting or standing positions.
